The program lasts a full academic year, including 500 hours of French language teaching, methodology courses, and fundamental scientific modules. At the end of the program, students must both achieve at least level B2 in French (certified by a DELF/DALF diploma), the minimum level required for admission to the undergraduate level, and be able to follow undergraduate courses taught in a French university, while mastering the methodology and concepts of scientific subjects.
Student support is at the heart of the CINCS throughout the academic year. You will benefit from dedicated support staff and tools to provide everything you need to build your path to success and thrive in your first study experience in France. You will:
- be guided through various administrative procedures: visa, accommodation, health insurance, etc.
- be housed in a university residence in Paris for easy access to the teaching venue in downtown Paris.
- be encouraged to participate in open days with a dedicated team to discover universities and schools and to inquire about desired courses.
- be supported in your application process for undergraduate studies at the university.
Furthermore, to complement your experience in France and facilitate better integration into the university community and French society, numerous cultural and scientific activities will be organized, such as exploring the city of Paris, visiting museums, sports events, scientific conferences, intercultural workshops, etc.
Through this class, you will experience the top quality of teaching at CentraleSupélec, explore the multiple aspects of French society, and feel confident and ideally at ease in your undergraduate studies!
CentraleSupélec, the Paris-Saclay University School of Engineering, of which it is also a founding member, is opening a new class exclusively for international students starting in the fall of 2024-2025 to prepare them for entry into undergraduate studies at Paris-Saclay University: the international class of CentraleSupélec (CINCS).
