The theme of Sustainable Development is at the forefront of the challenges facing our planet in the 21st century.
SD subjects are by definition complex:
- They affect most sectors of human activity, being at the heart of all industrial sectors or to a lesser extent services;
- Beyond the political level, the "physical" phenomena at work are truly complex (multi-agents, multi-scales, ...)
For this reason, CentraleSupélec has included in its general engineering training a foundation of knowledge and skills for all, to ensure that all engineers are able to appropriately take into account the challenges of SD in their profession both now and in the future.
