Congrats to Martin Virte, alumnus engineer and doctor of CentraleSupélec. Currently researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, VUB, he's been awarded the prestigious Starting Grant from European Research Agency (ERC).
His project is called COLOR'UP: Investigate how multi-color lasers could be exploited to perform all-optical processing of sub-THz signals. “I was shaking with excitement when I received the positive news from the European Commission', Martin Virte said, “Now we have five years and the financial means to get the project done.”
