Congratulations to researcher Nina Amini from Signals and Systems (L2S), who has just received the CNRS bronze medal for her work on control for the quantum computers of tomorrow. In her research, Nina Amini uses mathematical, physical and automatic tools to tame quantum systems, which are by nature fragile and disturbed by external noise and the effect of measurement. Her work will ensure the stabilization of qubits - the equivalent of the computer bit - the elementary brick at the heart of the calculations that quantum machines will produce.
