The T.I.M.E European Summer School is dedicated this year to Sustainability and the Global Economy. The objective of this two week summer programme is to give the students a deeper knowledge of the relation between sustainable development and the economic/financial conditions on a global scale encouraging them to propose creative solutions for real problems in a global context.
Organisation:
- The students are in constant communication with the lecturers, independent upon where they are, and with their fellow students at the other campuses.
- Concise seminars will be held during the morning (45 min max.) referred to the topics of the course. Materials will be available for students to work on them before the course.
- One study tour is organized on Friday at each site. They are also followed by local group discussions and presentations on video link in the afternoons.
- During the final two days, students present their work in front of a jury.
Project-based learning
International team working during the rest of the day. Projects are:
- Escaping from Poverty through Sustainable Development (BME - Budapest)

- Eco-efficient product development by combined CAD resources and 3D printing (UPM - Madrid)
- Sustainability of innovative technologies applied in developing countries (UniTrento)
- Implemention of an Energy Module in a region of your own choice (KTH - Stockholm)
- Sustainability of Innovative Technologies for Green Energy Production. (KTH - Stockholm)
